Last weekend, the NYPD closed off my street, the block north of me, and two blocks west of me, both Saturday and Sunday. Friday, the big-rig Haddad trailers and orange cones lined some four blocks square.
When this happens, since I live in a perpetual movie set, the street noise is lessened. This time, I thank The Bourne Ultimatum.
They shot two blocks away. I heard and saw nothing. Well, a crowd gathered at one production assistant-NYPD-cordoned-off intersection, trying to get a look.
When the film releases, I'll see if my neighborhood made the final edit.
